Hello Aleppo Residents and Friends –
We had an Aleppo Workshop Meeting on Monday night, April 13, 2026, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:

Resident Tim Kelly submitted a petition with 16 signatures to demonstrate community support for his endorsement request of House Bill 504 regarding Community Solar. The Board will vote on Mr. Kelly’s request at the next Legislative Meeting. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).

Fire Chief Bill Davis, Jr., spoke to the Board regarding current issues pertaining to the Aleppo Volunteer Fire Company, including some recent complaints about the fire siren at the station. Chief Davis also announced that the ATVFC Open House will be held on May 30, 2026 from 11-3pm. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).

Compass Minerals declined to renew the road salt contract for next year. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).

The Commissioners heard a report about the sessions that were offered at the Allegheny League of Municipalities Spring Educational Conference. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).
