The Aleppo Township Workshop Meeting scheduled for tonight has been CANCELLED. All business will be discussed at the Legislative Meeting on July 21, 2025.

We had an Aleppo Legislative Meeting on Monday night, June 16, 2025, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:
Sergeant Beck gave the Police Report for the month of May 2025 and he provided advice to residents about solicitors knocking at their door to sell a product or service (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).
The Public Works report for the month of May 2025 was presented and an update on the Rhodes Avenue emergency slide repair project was given (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).
An email was received from a resident with a complaint about soliciting without a permit (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).
The Township Solicitor will be making minor revisions to the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance and the Zoning Ordinance (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).
The financial reports for the month ending May 31, 2025 were presented (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).
The Board of Commissioners will be sending a letter to the Pittsburgh Regional Transit with their concerns about how the proposed route cuts will affect the residents of Aleppo (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).
The Township’s Solicitor provided a brief report (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).
The Commissioners received a request to donate to the Leetsdale 4th of July Committee (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting).
Reminder: the July Workshop Meeting has been cancelled. Our next Legislative Meeting will be on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
