Hi, Neighbors. We had a Legislative Meeting last week and I wanted to let you all know what happened.

- We had a presentation from our bond attorney about our options for refinancing the bond issue related to the sewer project. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- We had a discussion with our Director Of Public Works about salting of our roads and our road salt supply. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- Commissioner Lisanti updated us on the process of hiring a new municipal engineer, including identifying the names of the final two candidates. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- We heard how much tax revenue we have collected and where our bank accounts stand. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- Commissioner Lisanti updated us about the Aleppo Township Authority financial outlook. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- We heard about 2 major leaks in the township’s water supply in January. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- We were advised about problems that we’re having with the Deer Run Pump Station. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- We heard that the geotechnical study is finished to move our water line away from the landslide area and that the Authority’s engineer will start making construction drawings. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- We were advised that the Authority has rescinded the Aleppo tap fee and has implemented a new tap fee. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- We were updated about the dispute between our residents and the Borough of Sewickley concerning Sewickley’s efforts to impose its own tap fee on Aleppo residents. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- We voted (4-0) to waive the building permit fee for the Aleppo Township Authority to expand its garage. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- President Gartner told us about a breakfast with the other mayors and presidents of municipalities in the Sewickley area. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
- Our Township Manager reported that we have received negative feedback from the residents on South McCoy Road concerning efforts to change the name of that road. Click here to jump to this portion of the meeting.
