Locally, we are generally governed by several sets of local laws, which are also known as “Ordinances.” Our Ordinance Book is available for public review at the Township Building and at the Sewickley Public Library. Fires / Open Burning Regulations
Aleppo Township follows Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) regulations regarding fires and open burning. Fires may be no larger than 3 feet wide by 3 feet long by 2 feet high – the size of a recreational fire pit. Residential burn barrels are not allowed.
