The Aleppo Planning Commission is a five member board responsible for the review of overall plans for proposed land developments and subdivisions. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month if needed. The Calendar on this website will be updated monthly to indicate whether the Planning Commission will meet on any particular month.
Subdivision and Land Development Applications must be received 14 days prior to scheduled meeting. It is helpful if the Township Manager knows that an application is coming, so please call (412-741-6555) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) with as much advanced notice as possible. On behalf of Aleppo Township, Sewickley Borough, and Glen Osborne Borough, please find a link to the public review draft of the Aleppo Sewickley Glen Osborne (ASO) Joint Comprehensive Plan that the municipalities have updated this past year. The municipalities have hosted a successful and well received joint public meeting in June 2020 and, in accordance with the PA Municipalities Planning Code (MPC), are in the process of scheduling a future public hearing. Information associated with the Public Hearing will be advertised at a later date in accordance with the MPC. The ASO Joint Comprehensive Plan is not in the traditional document format.
