We had an Aleppo Workshop Meeting on Monday night, December 12, 2022, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:
- The 2023 Budget Ordinance and 2023 Millage Ordinance will be approved at the December Legislative meeting. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Budget #Millage #Ordinance
- The Township has budgeted money for increased police monitoring of speed on Redgate Road and other roads in the Township. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Police #RedgateRoad #Speeding
- A draft of an ordinance prohibiting the feeding of deer was presented. This will be on the agenda for adoption in January 2023. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Deer #Ordinance

- Aleppo qualified for another 5-year waiver from the state MS4 (stormwater monitoring) Program requirements. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Stormwater
- The Amazon Canopy Land Development Application is tentatively scheduled to be on the agenda for approval at the December Legislative meeting. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #AmazonCanopy

Here is what happened:
- Ordinances adopting the 2023 Real Estate Tax Rate and the 2023 Budget were approved. The Aleppo Township millage rate for 2023 will remain at 3.5 mills. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #TaxRate #Budget
- Sergeant Adam Beck of the Ohio Township Police Department gave the police report for the month of November. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Police
- Aleppo Township Volunteer Fire Company Chief Bill Davis, Jr. gave an overview of their 148 calls in 2022 and gave an update on the status of new truck purchases. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #FireCompany
- The Amazon Canopy Land Development Plan was approved. The plan calls for the construction of a structural canopy, intended to shield drivers and packages from the weather, over an existing parking lot at the Amazon warehouse on North Drive. - Tax Collector/Treasurer Clayton Steup gave his reports for the month of November. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #TaxCollector

- For the safety and efficiency of snow plowing operations, we request that people refrain from parking vehicles along roads in the Township during snow events. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #SnowRemoval
