6/17/24 Legislative Digest
Hello Aleppo Residents and Friends –
We had an Aleppo Legislative Meeting on Monday night, June 17, 2024, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:
- Sergeant Beck gave the Police Report for the month of May 2024, and reminded residents that people soliciting door-to-door need to have a permit issued by the police. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Police
- The Board accepted a bid from Youngblood Paving for tar and chip of seven township roads. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #PavingProject

- Commissioner Darragh reported that Aleppo Township Authority’s Deer Run Pump Station reconfiguration project bids were $200,000 higher than the grant they received. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #AleppoTownshipAuthority

- There will be a Hard to Recycle Event on July 27, 2024 at the Buncher Industrial Park. * Pre-registration is required.* There are flyers at the Municipal Building and information is posted on the Township website in Latest News. - Waste Management will start collecting trash and recycling at 6:00 a.m. on hotter days. Please be prepared for earlier pickups throughout the summer. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #WasteManagement
