Hello Aleppo Residents and Friends –

We had an Aleppo Legislative Meeting on Monday night, December 19, 2022, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

* REMINDER: The Christmas Tree Recycling will take place this Monday January 9, 2023 – please have your trees to the curb by Monday morning at 8:00 AM.  Please be sure to remove all decorations. *

Here is what happened:

  • Ordinances adopting the 2023 Real Estate Tax Rate and the 2023 Budget were approved.  The Aleppo Township millage rate for 2023 will remain at 3.5 mills. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #TaxRate #Budget
  • Sergeant Adam Beck of the Ohio Township Police Department gave the police report for the month of November. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Police
  • Aleppo Township Volunteer Fire Company Chief Bill Davis, Jr. gave an overview of their 148 calls in 2022 and gave an update on the status of new truck purchases. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #FireCompany
  • The Amazon Canopy Land Development Plan was approved.  The plan calls for the construction of a structural canopy, intended to shield drivers and packages from the weather, over an existing parking lot at the Amazon warehouse on North Drive. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #AmazonCanopy

We had an Aleppo Workshop Meeting on Monday night, January 9, 2023, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:

  • The proposed Ordinance Prohibiting the Feeding of Deer will be on the agenda for approval at the January Legislative Meeting. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Deer #Ordinance

Hello Aleppo Residents and Friends –

We have several announcements about upcoming events:

  • The Township offices will be closed on the following days for the holidays: Thursday December 23rd, Friday December 24th, Thursday December 30th, and Friday December 31st. #HolidayOfficeClosure
  • The Annual Christmas Tree Recycling will be on Monday, January 3, 2022.  Please have your trees at the curb by 8:00 AM.  Aleppo residents will receive a red postcard in the mail with the collection details. #ChristmasTreeRecycling

Here is what happened:

Here is what happened:

We had an Aleppo Legislative Meeting on Monday night, November 18, 2019 and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:

  • Ohio Township Police Department Chief Joseph Hanny gave the police report for the month.  (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Police

  • The Commissioners voted to appoint Judy Haluka to the vacant Commissioner position for the term beginning January 1, 2020.
