We had an Aleppo Legislative Meeting on Monday night, April 17, 2023, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:

  • Chief Hanny gave the Police Report for the month of March. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Police

The Workshop Meeting scheduled for tonight (April 11th) is CANCELLED.  All business will be discussed at the April Legislative Meeting next Monday.

We had an Aleppo Legislative Meeting on Tuesday night, March 22, 2022, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:

  • The Commissioners adopted a Weight Limit/Road Bonding Ordinance covering several roads in the Township, including Weber Road, Ferndale Avenue, Ingleside Drive, Weber Road Extension, and Sycamore Road Extension. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #WeightLimitRoadBonding #Ordinance

Here is what happened:

  • Tax Collector/Treasurer Clayton Steup gave the financial report for the month of September. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #TaxCollector

  • Commissioner Judy Haluka announced that the Quaker Valley Ambulance Authority is changing their municipal assessment program.  Under the prior model, the Township paid a $9 per capita fee, which covered 100% of any out-of-pocket costs for ambulance services (after insurance reimbursement.)  Under the new model, this $9 per capita fee will cover 50% of the out-of-pocket costs after insurance.  Please contact the QVAA at 412-262-2621 if you have questions about this new policy.  (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #QuakerValleyAmbulanceAuthority

7/20/2020 Legislative Digest

Hello Aleppo Residents and Friends –

The Aleppo Township Board of Commissioners will be meeting in person tonight in the Township building for their August 10, 2020 Workshop Meeting.  However, to ensure proper social distancing, we will be limiting the number of people in the room at one time.  Anyone attending the meeting must wear a face mask. We encourage residents to submit their comments in advance of the meeting when possible.

Glass Recycling: the traveling Glass Recycling Bin will be in the area for a few more days.  The bin is in the lower lot at Quaker Valley High School through Thursday August 13th.  Click here for more information.
