Hello Aleppo Residents and Friends –
We had an Aleppo Workshop Meeting on Monday night, August 12, 2024, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:
- Prior to the start of the Workshop Meeting, a public hearing was held regarding the Conditional Use Application submitted by GAMMA Pickleball Club to operate indoor Pickleball and Padel courts at the property located at 301 Deer Run Road (inside the Mygrant Glass building.) - The 2023 Audit was presented. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Audit
- The new target start date for the tar and chip project on multiple Township roads is around August 26th. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #TarAndChipping

- Some Township meetings will be held at offsite locations this fall – the October 21, 2024 Legislative Meeting will be held at Masonic Village and the November 18, 2023 Legislative Meeting is tentatively scheduled to be held at the Aleppo Township Volunteer Fire Station. Here is what happened:
- Sergeant Beck gave the Police Report for the month of June 2024 (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Police

- The Commissioners heard an update on the complaint from a resident about fireworks being set off in a residential area (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Fireworks

Here is what happened:
- GAMMA Pickleball Club has submitted an application to the Township for indoor pickleball courts at the Mygrant Glass building flex space. The Planning Commission has recommended approval subject to the applicant obtaining two variances. The Zoning Hearing Board is meeting on July 10, 2024 to hear the two variance requests. - An update on the 2023 and 2024 paving projects was given. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #PavingProject
- There will be a Hard to Recycle Event on July 27, 2024 at the Buncher Industrial Park. * Pre-registration is required and there are only a few tickets left.* There are flyers at the Municipal Building and information is posted on the Township website in Latest News. - The Board approved a second amendment to the Articles of Agreement with Cargill, Inc. extending the road salt delivery deadline. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Cargill
