Hello Aleppo Residents and Friends –
We had an Aleppo Workshop Meeting on Monday night, December 9, 2024, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:
- Ordinances setting the 2025 Real Estate Tax Rate and adopting the 2025 Budget will be on the agenda for adoption at the December Legislative Meeting. There is no proposed real estate tax increase in the 2025 budget (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #RealEstateTaxRate #Budget
- The Christmas Tree Recycling event will be on Monday, January 6, 2025. Residents should have their undecorated trees to the curb by 8:00 a.m. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #ChristmasTreeRecycling
- The Township is participating in a Holiday Light Recycling Program sponsored by Michael Brothers. Residents can drop off old string lights at the Municipal Building (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #HolidayLightRecyclingProgram
- Several Board and Commission terms are ending as of December 31, 2024, and most of the sitting members have expressed an interest in being re-appointed. Appointments for terms beginning January 1, 2025 will be on the agenda for the December Legislative meeting (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Reappointments
- There is an opening on the Planning Commission. Please contact the Township Manager for more information about the position (Click hereto watch this portion of the meeting). #OpenSeat #PlanningCommission
- The Aleppo Volunteer Fire Company Santa on the Firetruck will be on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Residents should send an email to tgoqv68@aol.com and provide your address and the number of children (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #FireCompany
- An update on Rhodes Avenue was provided (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #RhodesAvenue
Our next Legislative Meeting will be on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
