Hello Aleppo Residents and Friends –
We had an Aleppo Workshop Meeting on Monday night, June 12, 2023, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:
- The 2023 Paving Project is moving forward. The tentative schedule is for the tar and chip to take place during the summer months (McCoy, South McCoy, and the Weber Road neighborhood), the paving of the Sewickley Ridge neighborhood to take place around September, and the reconstruction of the Township Building parking lot to take place in the fall. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). We learned today that some roadway repairs on McCoy Place Road will take place tomorrow (Saturday June 17th.) The paving contractors are delivering flyers to each house on McCoy and South McCoy notifying them of the impending work tomorrow. #PavingProject #McCoyPlaceRoad #SouthMcCoyPlaceRoad #WeberRoad
- The Commissioners discussed a proposed Addendum to the road salt contract with Cargill providing an extension of time for the required amount of salt to be purchased for the 2022-2023 winter season. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #RoadSalt #Cargill

We had an Aleppo Legislative Meeting on Monday night, May 15, 2023, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:
- Chief Hanny gave the Police Report for the month of April. He reminded residents to lock their vehicles to prevent items being stolen from unlocked cars. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Police
- The Public Works report was presented, and the Board approved the purchase of a thumb attachment for the Township backhoe. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #PublicWorks #ThumbAttachment

Here is what happened:

- Solicitor Anna Jewart reported that Emergency Management Coordinators can serve multiple communities by following state approval guidelines and that Solicitor Stone is working on the Resolution governing certain financial notification policies between the Township and the Authority. - The 2023 Earth Day Roadside Cleanup Event will be held on Saturday April 22, 2023. We will meet at the Township Building at 9:00 AM for donuts and coffee before heading out to clean up some trash. All are welcome! (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #EarthDay

Hello Aleppo Residents and Friends –
The Aleppo Township Board of Commissioners will be meeting in person in the Township building for their July 20, 2020 Legislative Meeting. However, to ensure proper social distancing, we will be limiting the number of people in the room at one time. Anyone attending the meeting must wear a face mask. We encourage residents to submit their comments in advance of the meeting when possible.
The Board will conduct the conditional use hearing for the Villas of Glen Minogue land development plan at 7:00 PM before the start of the regular Legislative Meeting.
