Hello Aleppo Residents and Friends –
The Aleppo Township Board of Commissioners will be meeting in person in the Township building for their July 20, 2020 Legislative Meeting. However, to ensure proper social distancing, we will be limiting the number of people in the room at one time. Anyone attending the meeting must wear a face mask. We encourage residents to submit their comments in advance of the meeting when possible.
The Board will conduct the conditional use hearing for the Villas of Glen Minogue land development plan at 7:00 PM before the start of the regular Legislative Meeting.

We had an Aleppo Workshop Meeting on Monday night, July 13, 2020 and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:
- Commissioner Richert provided an update on the efforts Amazon has taken so far to respond to the issues of speeding, litter, and truck traffic (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Amazon
- The Commissioners heard a request for an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to permit and regulate distilleries, wineries, and breweries in the R-3 zoning district. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #AmendmentToTheZoningOrdinance

Hello Aleppo Residents and Friends –
We had an Aleppo Legislative Meeting on Monday, February 17, 2020 and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:
- The Commissioners heard about the various options for changes to the parking regulations in the C-2 Commercial Industrial Zoning District, and they heard resident comments and concerns about the issue. The Board voted 5-0 to authorize the Solicitor to work with the Engineers to design a parking overlay district. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). {Note: the overlay district is still being designed, so no action is scheduled on this issue for tonight’s Workshop meeting.} #ParkingOverlay #AmendmentToTheZoningOrdinance
- During the Communications report, the Board heard about two emails received from residents regarding glass recycling. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #GlassRecycling #Residents
- The Board approved a motion advertise the procedural amendment to incorporate the Oil & Gas Regulations into the Zoning Ordinance. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting), #AmendmentToTheZoningOrdinance
- The Commissioners received the Tax Collector and Treasurer reports for the month of January 2020. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #TaxCollector
- Commissioner Darragh gave the Aleppo Township Authority report, and the Board voted 5-0 to transfer $35,000 from the Township’s sewer bond refinance funds to the Aleppo Township Authority for the purchase of water meters. - The Commissioners learned that the Township submitted a successful application to the Local Government Academy (LGA) Intern Program and will share an intern this summer with Glen Osborne Borough and Kilbuck Township.
