We had an Aleppo Legislative Meeting on Monday night, March 19, 2024, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:

  • Sergeant Beck gave the Police Report for the month of February 2024. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Police

We had an Aleppo Workshop Meeting on Monday night, March 11, 2024, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:

  • The Diemert-Meanor Subdivision Plan adjusting the lot line between two properties will be on the agenda for approval at the March Legislative Meeting. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #DiemertMeanorSubdivisionPlan

We had an Aleppo Workshop Meeting on Monday night, December 11, 2023, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:

  • Ordinances setting the 2024 Real Estate Tax Rate and adopting the 2024 Budget will be on the agenda for adoption at the December Legislative Meeting. There is no proposed real estate tax increase in the 2024 budget. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #RealEstateTaxRate #Budget
  • The 2023 Paving Project is mostly completed for the season. The Township Building parking lot will be repaved in the spring. The Board is scheduled to approve two change orders to the paving contract at the December Legislative Meeting.  (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #PavingProject
  • 2024 Meeting Dates for the Workshop, Legislative, and Planning Commission meetings have been set.  The dates are on the calendar on the Township’s website (www.aleppotownship.com). (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #MeetingDates

We had an Aleppo Legislative Meeting on Monday night, January 16, 2023, and I wanted to tell you what happened.

Here is what happened:

  • The Ordinance prohibiting the feeding of deer was adopted. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Deer #Ordinance
  • Chief Hanny gave the December 2022 police report and announced the upcoming I-79 South ramp closure. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #Police #RampClosure

  • The Commissioners approved the design and bid agreement with HRG Engineering for the 2023 Paving Project.   The bid results will determine the scope of the project, but the goal is to pave Sewickley Ridge Drive, Sewickley Ridge Circle, and Sewickley Ridge Court and to tar and chip multiple roads throughout the Township, including roads in the Weber Road neighborhood, McCoy Place Road, and South McCoy Place Road.  (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting). #HRG #Paving

Here is what happened:
