Hi, Neighbors. We had an Aleppo Legislative meeting last week and I wanted to let you know what happened. Here’s what happened:

  • Our police chief told us about police activity in our township. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting.) #police
  • We discussed our ongoing efforts to improve our Emergency Management. Specifically, we voted (5-0) to approve Sally Shipley as Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator and discussed plans for notifying residents of emergency situations. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting.) #emergencymanagement

  • I explained what is going on at the COG, including updates on recycling events, GIS data management, and creating an inventory of municipal assets. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting.)

  • Our engineer gave an excellent presentation about MS4. If you’ve been hearing this term “MS4” and you don’t really know what it means, I highly recommend watching this talk. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting.) #ms4

  • Our township manager updated us about the abandoned vehicle on Weber Road. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting.)
  • We continued to discuss adoption of an electronic document management solution. Specifically, we heard about options for cyber-liability insurance. (Click here to watch this portion of the meeting.)
